just wondering if after going raw do you find yourself be satiated quicker than you did on SAD food?
or does it just seem like people eat more because the food isn't condensed into a hamburger?

Oh my gosh, YES, I do! I chalk it up to all the fiber in the fruits and veggies I eat. It's a different kind of "full" or "satiation" than when eating SAD. I don't feel sick when stuffed, just satisfied.

For me, it depends on how hungry I am and what I'm eating. I also experience many different kinds of satisfiedness/fullness. For example, full on a fruit smoothie feels different from full on walnut taco meat or full on a salad. Sometimes I eat much more, and sometimes I eat much less.
Eating raw has only made my eating much less regular, but much more in tune with my body.

I did after years of eating simpler....and more easily digestible raw foods. Now that I eat mostly fruit...after many years....my stomach can only handle so much at a time! LOL. Perhaps 2 or 3 apples.

I've also discovered I don't need too much food to be full. An apple or banana and even a handful of nuts is all I need sometimes. I tend to eat mini meals throughout the day, so I'm never really "starving". It's funny I used to eat larger, less frequent meals when Vegan/Vegetarian and was never satisifed!

I think it also has to do with eating dead food with zero nutrients. I imagine my body saying, "hey what's up with this...where are the nutrients?! Give us more food!" lol. You're never satisifed if you're eating the typical mainstream way, because you are truly starving your body and this triggers overeating and a number of other issues in my opinion.

Me too. I need to eat much less now that I'm a raw vegan. Cooked food seemed to never satisfy me.

I dont know that i necessarily eat less food, but I dont feel the "craving" or
"addiction" to keep eating eating eating as i do when i eat cooked. eating cooked, i could eat a whole burrito or big bowl of pasta or half a loaf of bread or 10 cookies and still feel "not full" and keep eating more. i NEVER felt satiated or satisfied. I dont really have that problem when i eat raw. sure, i keep scrounging for stuff to eat, but its usually an "avoidance of working on my thesis" problem, not a hunger problem. i def dont feel the same out of control "i need more food, im hungry im hungry im hungry" that i felt on veg or cooked vegan. i suspect it has to do with the higher nutrient content in raw, and also with the lack of ?addictive? substances (white sugar, white flower, etc)
