Hey everyone, I am doing some jucing right now and I am wondering what kinds of fruits or veggies would be good to juice in the juicer to help my skin.

Thanks:D

Hi Firicia! I know that cucumber juice is supposed to work wonders for the skin....but not having a juicer, I can only relay the info.....haven't had the chance to find out for myself!

I agree!
Cucumber is probably one of the best. While I juice it, I rub some right onto my skin too! :D
Also, anything with antioxidants (which is basically all raw food!). There's a juice at my favourite restaurant called 'Bleutiful' with blueberries, strawberries, and some other yummy goodness that I can't remember.
Apparently celery is good to keep your skin nice and moisturized too.

I second the cucumber juice. You don't have to juice it, just cut it up in chunks and put it in the blender with some water, parsley and lemon juice and agave and blend very well. Then pour through a strainer and serve over ice. Instant gorgeous skin!!! WOO-HOO!!!

Omg mel_s12!

Am I getting this right, you live in Vancouver and teach raw foods, omgomg, really? So what is it you teach, how do you help people?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!!! Love you all:)

Apparently sweet potato is also good for the skin and eyes because of its high lutein content.
My favourite juice contains sweet potato so that rocks.
This juice is more DELICIOUS than you can imagine:

1 medium sweet potato
1/2 pineapple
2/3 apples

Consume!
