shrinking attachments....????

Hey all! anyone know how I can shrink my photos so they can be posted? When I try them as attachement...it doesn't go thru...says it's too big....??? I really want to post my cake photo! Thank you in advance!

upload the photos to Photobucket (free account) and under edit choose the size for message boards.
