Was thinking, it is probably a good idea and easier to digest if juicing more then eating the foods in there whole state like carrots or broccoli. I know when I eat broccoli whole I have a hard time to digest it.
I want to start juicing first before I jump into eating the RAW foods whole to prepare my system for the cleansing and change that will take place.
I have the book: Juicing for life.
Want to do a 1 day fast on Monday with just lemon and water or even BRAGGs apple cider vinegar which I usually always put in my water anyway and start juicing the following dayl
Any comments? : )

I think if that is what you want go for it. Let your body lead you, if you do it and if feels good then great, if not you can always stop:)

Juicing is a good kick start to raw. That's how I did it. I juice fasted for 7 days to rid myself of the bad habits and craving for carbs and coffee and once I was done, I became raw literally overnight. This is what worked for me but everyone is different. Some people need to transition slowly, some eat raw the whole day and have one cooked meal for dinner until they adjust to raw. Some detox quickly and add a little cooked food to slow it down, some eat mono meals and bounce around trying out fruits and veges that they never tasted before and still others just jump 100% into raw, making all kinds of wonderful gourmet recipes. It is really a personal experience that you must customize to your preferences and body composition. Listen to your body.....it will tell you what to do and don't try to fit it into a "one size fits all" concept.

I wish I'd had it this time last year. It is hard to go back and do it in a more structured way, after you've bounced around all over trying to do what worked for others. Only to find out that none of it really fits you, and you need to start from square one. Especially if you jump in blind, because of a health crisis.

Also, keep in mind, that living this lifestyle is an evolution, a work in progress!.....It is letting go of should's and shouldn'ts and specifics. As Alissa says in her book, just eat raw! It has taken me much time, trial and tribulations but LISTENING TO YOUR BODY is the BEST advice I got and the best I can pass along. And I don't mean the voice in the red outfit on your shoulder saying "eat that burger, eat that pizza, drink that soda!!!":D ....the inner voice that has led you here to begin with. Juicing is an excellent way to start your day....or even your entire day.....you are right on the fibrous part. If you are not accustomed to it all it may make you gassy and uncomfortable. Juicing allows your body to become INFUSED with those good nutrients....but why wait until Monday? Raw doesn't have a start/finish date.....baby steps can begin this minute!!!! Go have some juice! Good luck!!!!!
