I used it and had no problems. What are you using it for? Ingesting, or topical? From what I understand, you don't want to use it unless you have an infection, or something for it to work on. Your body cannot get rid of it, so will just store it if not being used, this is how those that use it everyday can turn gray or purple-ish.

I heard, too, that it can build up inside you; also that it's a bit too toxic to take internally.

I wouldn't risk it while pregnant.

I saw a man on the news last night who was taking it for years then decided to start putting it on his skin, it made his skin softer and less dry, but turned him blue. He looked like a smurf! ... imo... I would NOT take it while pregnant.
