A while ago a thread was started for simple but delicious recipes. I'd like to continue that idea so that people have a resource to turn to when they are hungry and need something fast.
Rules:
1. Can't use electronic appliance to prepare
2. Can be made under 10 min.
3. Uses 5 ingredients or less
A time tested classic:
Sliced banana with almond butter and honey drizzled on top
One that I just came up with tonight:
1 heaping tbs. cacao powder
1/4 avocado
2-3 tbs. raw honey or agave
Put all ingredients in plastic zip lock bag and mash with your fingers until completely smooth. It's so good!

Ants on a log - celery sticks with nut butter and raisins on top.
Medjool dates stuffed with almond butter OR with a Brazil nut (I used to practically LIVE on these in my earlier days of raw!)
Gee...some of my quickest meals are whipped up in the food processor or blender in less than 5 minutes...but I understand the rules and will comply! :o :p

One of my new favorite snacks is:
-2 tb Tahini mixed with 1 tb Nama shoyu
-Chopped cauliflower florets
Dip and Munch.

1 or 2 large green apple, not too thinly sliced
mix in small bowl some raw carob powder,agave syrup and cinnamon.
Spread on apple slices.
Yummy and quick.

equal parts olive oil and lemon juice

Mix together nut butter + honey or agave + cinnamon
Slice an apple into wedges and dip.
My favourite fast snack!

Salad, grated veggies, thin smear of almond butter or avocados, wrap in nori sheet, dip in dressing. Quick and yummo (unless your young children have eaten all your nori sheets!)

Mash 2 cloves of fresh garlic into some Hemp seed oil and place into a bowl and add a large avocado to the bowl. Mash and mix together.
slice up some fresh mushrooms and/or other veggies to dip into the bowl.
Quick and yummy :)
