Iv just found a biosnacky, and iv got some raw oat groats that im wanting to sproat, however iv read two different ways to sproat and im confused, one way told me to submerge the seeds in water and leave them in it for 48 hours, the other one tells me just to wet the seeds then leave them.
I have no instructions for the biosnacky and cant figure out the shape of the lid and what i do with it

i dont think your oat groats, even if raw, will sprout. i think you actually have to get oats specifically for sprouting (i think the sproutpeople.com have them in the US but dont know if youre in the us or the uk or canada. ) you can soak them and then rinse them and use them, but i dont think theylll sprout for you unless youve gotten specific sprouting oats. dont get them from a feedstore or seed company though because they might be coated with chemicals if they are meant for planting. get them from somewhere that advertises oats as being for sprouting. which biosnacky do you have? the clear 3 tier plastic one with the little red caps to let the water drain, or just the jars? the 3 tier one ive had good luck with.
you would probably have better luck sprouting wheat, or maybe barley or rye if youre looking for a grain. or quinoa. quinoa basically starts to sprout in a jar overnight.

I got the oats from kate wood's site, on the packet they say that you can sproat them, they are raw, organic etc.
But im unsure as to how long to soak them for etc.
Its just the jar with the green lid with vents in.

Kates site is great and has great quality items. Kaybee Kate Wood is in the UK.
Brydee, contact kate and she will give you specific info for sprouting. They are very approachable and give great feedback. I bought one of everything on her site for xmas - YUM! She even signed her latest book for me!:p
Brydee I strongly suggest you identify youself with an area (UK, US, etc) so when people are responding they can give you area specific referrals - also it's just nice to see where everyone is located. See mine top right:
