As I've been eating my large, delicious pineapple, I've been collecting all the seeds that I find. I now have about 10-12 pineapple seeds (and I'm sure there are more, I'm only 1/2 done with it), and I'm wondering if I can actually plant them? I live in Southern California (right by Disneyland) and...yeah, I'm just curious :)
Thanks!

No, but you can plant the top. (the green part) Just plop it in the ground so just the very bottom is covered up and the green sticks out like a plant...and wait two years and it will produce a nice pineapple. ( : We have about 8 growing out back...waiting...waiting...waiting...(twiddles thumbs)...waiting...

So you're SURE the seeds do..nothing? :(
Okkk I'll plant the tops. I aquire ALOT of them, seeing as I adore pineapples, and they're large and cheap at Costco :)

i've never heard of growing a pineapple from seeds, but i know that planting the top works. i would try to plant the seeds too and see what happens. obvioulsy it'll take a lot longer to see results, but ya never know, it could work.
