Ebay (where I got mine too - at a very good price)
Craigslist
From Vita-mix corporation direct - they have a three month payment plan if you just can't wait any longer, lol
Oh and check out vitamix's website because they have a schedule of when they'll be demonstrating at home & garden shows, fairs etc. They generally offer discounts on product sales when you go to the shows and view the demonstrations.
Costco-same thing with the demonstrations

the thing i make most is smoothies. i use my cheapo food processor for nuts and most recipes, just cause i can replace the food processor more easily then i can a vita mix. its not that the vita mix can't handle those things, believe me it can with great ease, but i'd just rather be cautious. $30-40 for a food processor is a lot easier than $400-500 for a vita mix. thats just me. good luck with finding a good deal and you're gonna love it!

Hi there!
I got a great deal on mine on ebay! I've also seen some great deals (like commercial models for $75!!) on craigslist. Unforunately, I missed out on that one! :-)
Blessings,

From Alissa since she supports this forum w/ her own dollah.
Plus, my understanding is, IF you purchase from eBay or Craigslist, you lose out on the warranty.

revell- when i purchased mine off ebay i was unaware of this site, but i got one of the commercial style vitamix (vita prep 3), but mine did come with the waranty, maybe cause mine was new in box. but the website said they were from america, that it was a real vita prep 3 and that it would still be covered with the warranty. so i guess it also depends upon who you buy it from, if you get it on ebay.

I got my vitamix 5000 from www.totalrawfood.com for £399.99, the only place I found it with a UK plug socket, warantee, free shipping no added tax etc.

I asked this same question here at the beginning of the summer when I got mine - basically they are priced the same in all retail online stores - even Costco online is the same price, they just throw in a free pan or other cooking item that you don't use in raw anyway - for some reason I didn't notice that Alissa had them for sale here..I thought she had pulled it..must be mixing that up with the excalibur...sorry Alissa..anyway - I ended up getting mine from vitamix.com with the free ship and it still got here within 48 hours of my ordering it - I can't live without it!!!
I would say if you are looking for a better deal..go ebay - I just wanted something concrete, a company I could turn to in case I had a problem - that was worth the extra $$ for me.

Did anyone here use the 3 payment option?
