I've been reading alot of the archives and such the past few days and have heard alot of people mention how you detox when you first start raw. It comes out in your skin, etc. I am breastfeeding, granted she's 2 1/2 years not 6 weeks, but this wouldn't affect my milk in an adverse way would it?

It's not like you are waterfasting for 40 days. You may want to transition over 30 days instead of going 100% on the spot though. If you eat cooked foods, your baby is getting toxins, if you go raw your baby is getting toxins but also getting the best possible nutrition. Even if you were 100% clean, your baby is still getting toxic exposute to the carpet, walls, toys, carseat etc

LOL So true! I mentioned on another thread that it's funny how I worry about it, but not about what I've been feeding her up until this point. I mean, it's not total crap, my kids actually request broccoli and cauliflower at the grocery store, but still. Thanks! :D

That is exactly it, so many people freak out thinking eating healthy natural foods will hurt thier baby yet they don't stop to think how much worse it is when they eat man altered foods.
