We’re a raw vegan family (a couple with 2 toddlers), Britons with oriental ethic background. My family’s seeking a raw vegan Eco-community to join or live somewhere near by. We’re chasing our dream ever since the start of our living-food lifestyle 3 years ago. We wish to live somewhere warmer with more sunshine :) , in our own earth friendly building plus a plot of land has potential to produce abundance of fruits & veggies all year round. Our main interests are in permaculture & organic farming, raw & living foods, natural lifestyle, constructing eco-friendly building, home education, etc.

Now extending our search to North America, and plan to visit California and surrounding areas. In hope of finding a suitable location for our new dwelling, as well as meeting other raw-food enthusiasts. With limited traveling budge, we’d love to hear all the suggestions & advises on our 1 or 2 months visit.

Many Thanks & In Health,
Tan-Ong Family

I don't know about California. Have you googled raw food community in calif? I found a raw community in Hawaii but I don't remember where. I'll google it and see if I can find anything.

Santa Monica, California is practically the heart of the raw food movement. I know of about three raw places within 20 mins of eachother. There are also TONS of vegan places. Good luck!

Thank you all for kind replys and great suggestions. I'll def email Storm & Jinee and also search in costa Rica. Hawaii is a bit too far from UK and don't think we can afford any good size plot of land. Much appricated your input. Cheers.

Fort Bragg (Northern California, coastal) has a raw community and I expect it would also have land, although I've not lived there.
