Hi everyone,
Someone once told me that a doctor can't diagnose candida. She said that basically you just have to look at the syptoms and determine for yourself if you have it or not? Is this true? For those who know they have it, how did you find out? Just curious. I think I may have it but not sure??
Thanks:) Charika

My doctor couldnt diagnose mine, they even claimed i had diabetes at one point (i do not) and gave me all kinds of "medications" that aggravated the problem to the extreme
I just matched up my symptoms myself and began treatment. Its working
Before raw and treatment i had:
A very bloated up tummy
A white tongue with this disgusting white mucousy coating (ew. Yay for healthy dark pink tongue!)
Very bad vaginal thrush. It was itchy and thick white and very unpleasant. It didnt go with any treatments
Malabsorption of nutrients (iron deficiency even though eating plenty of iron etc)
Being irritated/depressed/angry
Clouded thoughts. Unable to think straight
and a load of other symptoms. Conventional doctors arent very good with candida, i think they see all the symptoms as separate problems, and they treat vaginal thrush like something normal and nothing to worry about, which i find wrong
Anyway hope this helped a little:)
Why don't you take oregano oil capsules. They get rid of candida beautifully. And then the tongue goes pink. It worked with me.:)

Yep, I pretty much don't even bring it up with my doctor.
When I had complains about my toe nail fungus she told me to eat yogurt (which IS I suppose would be a step in the right direction if I were McDonald eating, meat/potato/gravy person)
So now - probiotics, Kombucha, need to get me some Oil of Oregano, Grape Seed Extract.
I think I am making progress, just not as fast as I would like.
As far as symptoms, here are mine:
Afore mentioned toe nail fungus (bad case)
Corporis tinea - almost gone
Frequent Yeast infection / bacterial vaginosis / UTI's - have not had one in almost a year
Brain fog is iffy though, caould be due to either Candida or my MS.
verseaurainbows, what treatment are you using?
I tried to cancel my input here because I was unsure of it's truth, but could not.
