I just finished my final exam for my nutrition program!
I am now (unless I didn't pass the exam.. but i did) a nutritional consultant!
I am SO going to spread the raw word even more now!
It's pretty exciting though. I have office space set up and a mentor starting in February for my business. YAA.
I know this doesn't really have a lot to do with raw, but you're all my friends here and I just had to share :D
I am so happy. Raw food has magically changed my life. It has brought me to where I am today and I am so grateful. :D

Congratsss on accomplishing your goals
That's so cool! Where did you take the classes, if I may ask. Or how did you go about it. I'm curious because you don't work a normal 9-5 job.
I looked at your blog (even told my husband about it!)... and it really, really made me want to be a flight attendant. I LOOOOVE to travel, don't mind the in-person customer service. Your pics are so great, and it's neat how you write about how you stay raw even with the job you have.

Aww thanks for the congrats everyone!!
The course I took was through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition which certifies you as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and then you can also apply to the IONC to be a Registered Nutritionist Consultant Practitioner. My advice would be to go www.ionc.com and find a school nearest to you.
As for flying, it's my passion in life! I love it so much. It does give you quite a bit of time off (not very good pay!) so I decided to take the nutrition course on the side. It took 2 years and here I am today. I'm going to do both jobs, as well as my raw food training.
For anybody interested in becoming a flight attendant, I would highly recommend it! Most of the airlines are hiring like crazy right now because of the amount of people retiring right now. I started just 3 years ago and about 2000 people have already been hired after me.
Stay tuned for some fun places and interesting stuff on my blog though :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool, I just looked at the site (it was www.ionc.org, though!), I might actually look into that further.
That's really helpful information. I speak Spanish fluently and am learning Portuguese now (my husband is Brazilian)... so I think I would be a great candidate for international flights. :) And I have realized that I really honestly don't need a ton of money!

Ooops.. you would think I would know the website.. teehee..
Wow! Especially for the airline I work for.. you would be flying to South America all the time. You would love it!
Yeah life is all about being happy.. not about making money. If being a flight attendant is something you want to do, then go for it! There's always enough time to do something else on the side, whether its going to school for the nutrition thing or having another side job. It's great!
