Wow! It seems like the Master Cleanse has high jacked the fasting forum! YIPPEE! Everyone is doing this with me! I did the MC before I went raw and had such a good experience that I decided to become raw. So I owe it all to that.

Here's my question: For those of you who are experienced in being raw and doing the MC, is there a lot less "elimination" into the toilet when you have been raw for a long period of time? The first MC I did I felt like I was on the toilet like 3 or 4 or 5 times a day, especially in the morning - for a looong time. But I am doing another one, 7 1/2 months raw later, and today is Day One and I haven't had to go at all! I did the salt water flush and everything but.....nothing! Is this common for those who have been raw? I'm thinking I may not even do the SWF and just do the tea, since the flush is so dreadful anyway, and it didn't do anything for me this morning. Any words from the wise?

I agree with you about the SWF. I don't do it either. I just do the laxative tea. I have been raw for 16 months or so and I also agree that my eliminations have been a lot less the last 3 times I have done this fast. I do contribute this to not as many toxins built up as when I ate sad. Are you doing the laxative tea in the morning and night?

on another note join us in the January master cleanse thread. THe more company the better.

I'm finishing up day 4 of the MC, and it's my first fast/cleanse. I've been raw for 4 straight months, but have been practicing raw for 3 years. I wanted to do the MC because my digestion has always been painfully slow, raw or not. I'm hoping this is the break my system needs!
As far as elimination goes, I've been doing the lax tea every night and the SWF every morning (It's gross but I can surprisingly do it!)...I actually prefer the SWF results over the lax tea because it doesn't give me terrible cramps, and I feel really good after! I haven't been eliminating a whole lot, but there's a little somethin somethin! Not shocking considering my poor digestive system.
