I need to measure out approximately 5 grams of chlorella powder, I don't take the capsules, and I'm not sure how much I am measuring out.

I use a 30ml teaspoon and a 15ml teaspoon, and I fill the 15ml teaspoon and presume its 7.5 grams of chlorella, take a little out leaves me with 5 grams.

Measuring coconut oil is easy, because on the tub of oil it says 440 ml, and my measuring spoon says 30 ml, which is extremely easy to work out.

Also, on Mercola.com he sells a product that comes with a spoon that measures specifically 30 grams with the product.

Anyway, Im looking for some sort of gram conversion or something that will measure out 5 grams, like a spoon that I could buy maybe, because all the ones I have are for ml and I cant seem to find any in the shops.

The only things this is a problem with is raw chocolote powder, chlorella.

I think I've always gone on the one teaspoon being 5g roughly. But it depends on what you're measuring I guess, because each substance would weigh different.

Hi Fuggles -

what brand is it? Most of them have a label that says 1 teaspoon = x grams of chlorella.

I tried to look up the specs for your chlorella, but was not successful. From the types I have seen, it is usually about 1.5 - 2 tsp equals 5 grams.

Hope this helps.
