Blog. Info. help, please?

In our personal Blog area there is a section on the top right hand corner which looks like this:

Blog. Info.
Status: Public
Entries:
Comments:
Views:

My question is: How can I change mine from saying "Status - Private" to "Status-Public" (as I see most members are)?

I am asking this because sometimes I get the feeling that I am "invisible" on this board - I mean as if some people are not receiving my comments or posts? Just wondered if this has something to do with it. I am a real computer novice. Thanks so much for your help. I have already searched as best I can for the answer to this question.

Hi Islesgirl! I can help you with this:) Go to your blog, and click on the arrow down beside where it says "Blog Tools". Select "Modify Settings" and scroll down to where you see the Blog Privacy Settings. Deselect the box marked "Private Only." That should fix your problem!!

Thanks Amberstorm. Some of the wording was a bit different but it seems to have worked. It now says "Public".
