I would like to hear from anybody that took raw food to the next level...
By the next level I mean, only ate organic raw AND living foods.
At the moment I am eating half organic and half living but all raw. A lot of the nuts I eat are not soaked (just ingredients in recipes) and a lot of the dried foods I eat like raisins are not living, but organic.

Is there anybody that started out like this, but then took it to the next level and noticed an even bigger change??

I eat mainly organic raw food.

I can't actually think of what I eat that is NOT organic, sometimes things like sauerkraut which I can't find organic. That's about it.

I always included a lot of organic foods ever since I started raw - I thought that it didn't make sense to eat non organic -why would I choose to add pesticides into my meal?
Plus I was very keen on supporting the environment.

So because I always started off eating organic raw - I don't know what I would have felt like if I'd switched from non organic raw.

One thing I notice is that if I do happen to eat a non organic piece of fruit that I usually eat organic I can really notice the taste difference as well as the texture.

Also non organic foods tend to stay looking fresh WEEKS after you've bought them which seems so un-natural.
Don't want to eat food thats been iradiated!!

It may be more expensive but I go to work and thankfully can afford to buy organic - plus I grow my own which saves me some cash.

Not quite sure what you mean here since the definition of living foods varies a lot...can you explain please?

Well.. Raw basically means 'uncooked'
And Living means with active enzymes.
Nuts technically are raw but not living (unless they have been soaked and sprouted.

So currently I eat mostly everything living (fruits and veggies) ..
BUT I also eat un-sprouted nuts (which contain enzyme inhibitors) and the occasional organic dried fruit (non-sundried so no enzymes.. so not living)

I want to take it a step further and have EVERYTHING i eat have active enzymes and be organic. I just bought a house and am currently planning a huge garden in my backyard. This should help a lot! :D

My only issue is that i LOVE making the gourmet recipes. I wonder how much they will change if I soak and sprout all the nuts.

This type of raw living will also be a lot more expensive, but I'm sure it would be worth it.

Great question!

I've been wondering about this, too, since I generally don't soak the nuts I eat. I have wondered what I'd feel if everything was soaked/sprouted...

Right now I'm doing mostly green smoothies for awhile (as of today :) ) and some whole fruits and salad. I'll stay tuned!
