I would say yes simply because people get sick and sneeze and touch stuff with there dirty hands. I know at least in the stores in my area the organic stuff isn't even kept in one of the storage areas that sprays water on it :(
anyways... I say YES!

You don't HAVE to wash anything....but if you're worried about whatever's been on the hands of the people who stocked the fruit and veg in the market, then wash them. I don't wash mine either.

fertilized with cow manure. If it's not properly or completely composted before being put on the plants, the plants could get manure with e coli in it. There have been numerous stories about organic food transmitting e coli to people.
Also, someone once noticed - there are no outhouses in the middle of fields of food.

someone recently posted that they found out that even the organic oranges they were buying at whole foods were sprayed with a fungicide. i dont think "organically grown" guarantees anything; seems like they can spray stuff after picking it to preserve its shelf-life and still call it organically grown, cuz it WAS organically GROWN... further, sometimes organic has different definitions, and my understanding is that organic doesnt always mean chemical-free....i think in some cases it means you only resort to chemicals if all other methods have been tried first.... Also, just because an organic spray has been used, doesnt mean you should necessarily consume that spray... some of these things i believe include vegetable based soap on lettuce, etc....and do you really wanna eat soap..??So yeah, I would wash first. UNLESS its coming from your own garden, or that of a friend or neighbor and you know exactly what been done to it or UNLESS you forage it yourself.... even then, with foraging, no guarantees that theres no animal feces/urine, etc on it, though most people dont worry about this with foraging as long as its in a dog-free area.

Definitely, always wash everything. Just because it's organic doesn't mean it's protected by anything and everything that could've come across it before you purchased it.

Some hardy souls eat without washing, saying that is how they get their B12.
For me, I would ESPECIALLY wash organic because by its very definition, you must be pretty sure there is "organic" fertilizer in contact with it, let alone whatever the workers and processors add later. YUK.
Yes, I say ESPECIALLY to wash organic... I don't see that as a slur against organic at all. Far from it! What it says is that organic produce is POSSIBLE to clean, whereas non-organic is sprayed with so much chemical that it is DOUBTFUL whether it can be cleaned off!
