Is it possible for some people not to lose weight on this diet? I usually did better on low carb diets. I am Vegan, I did raw 30 days lost around 5lbs, then cheated and now have been raw since Jan 1. Im wondering if all these fruits and veggies are overload on carbs, even tho they are good for you. I need to lose about 50lbs. Pat

I lost 30 lbs. i about 3 - 4 months, and then lost another 7 after that, only more slowly. It works!;)

Looking forward to answers too.
However I noticed that I do better on Low Glycemic foods - fruits and veggies that is.
High Glycemic Load immediately results in a weight gain for me.
I also "do" raw fish (sashimi) for protein, so that balances carbs/proteins for me.
Though 5 lbs in 30 days seems like a very good speed for me. The slower those pounds come off, the more chances of them never coming back.

I do better on lower carbs as well. But since these carbs come from whole foods sources, fruits and veg mostly I find that I don't have a problem. If I try to do raw grains, even sprouted, that's where I have trouble. I just start craving even more grains, and cooked as well.
So I stick to fruits veggies, nuts and oils pretty much. Supefoods like green powders and such are good as well, and I will start experiemnting with the raw hemp protein from Allissa's site this week.I know that wasn't much help, hopefully yuo ca find the right combo for your body. It's very much a learning process. I have been "doing raw" to different degrees since August and have learned so much about my body since then.
