I have found an ad for a supposedly used once Vitamix 4000. Does anyone have one? Or know if I should or shouldn't buy it vs buying a new latest model?

Not used much until lately but does everything. I love it. Makes great smoothies, ice cream, and so far does everything. A friend of mine has one about 25 years old and he still uses it and loves it.

If you ask the seller for the Serial Number on the machine, you can call Vita Mix, and find out exactly how old the machine is, and if there is any warranty left on it. That might help in your decision.
