hi,
this is my first post here, but i have been reading for while. I am currently raw 75%. I would like to purchase raw stuff like bars, cereal and stuff like that. i found Natural zing, but the store is about 50 minutes away. another store that i went with my husband, half of the stuffs on the shelves had expired, and my husband has told me not to buy anything from that store. I have not been back to that store.
thank in advance.

Hello fellow Baltimorean,
I do the bulk of my produce shopping at H-Mart in Catonsville. It's an Asian Market and their produce is very reasonable and there's a huge variety. I pick up other little things at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.
I go every Sunday morning. Let me know if you need a shopping buddy.

hi,
thank you so much. we definetly have to plan a shopping trip together. I want to go to natural zing but i have to have at least $100.00 to spend so that the trip will worth the driving distance. I am definetly saving for that trip.

Hi All!
I live in the South East section of Baltimore city and I mostly shop at the Whole Foods market at Habor East-1001 Fleet St. and somtimes I shop at my local Mars supermarket.
ellesgarden,
Is that Asian market across from Wal-mart and Giant? because I use to live around the corner from there.

I also do the bulk of my shopping at H-Mart. I generally go on Sunday afternoons. I also pick up some items at the MT. Washington Whole Foods Market. There is also a farmer's market by Hopkins but I can't ever remember the name of it.

im around the fells point area and found that safeway has really good sales (you have to get the bonus card though!!) on produce often.......i used to go to trader joe's all the time when i went to school in towson, but now i dont make it out there as much. whole foods is alright but you have to look for the deals; the best thing ive found there are raw cashews for $3.99 per lb!
also, have you ever been to the yabba pot?!??!?! it's on st. paul in charles village. they have raw dishes every single day!

Hi All!

It sure is!
The Health Concern is a great, family owned health food store in Towson. I like it as a quiet and peaceful alternative to Whole Foods. I also go to Safeway and Superfresh if I need to pick up something and I'm in a hurry. They have organic food and their avos are way cheaper than WFs. WFs early in the morning is so lovely. I don't shop at HM because I don't know where the produce comes from and most of it isnt' organic. I also don't recommend the Yabba Pot. The food tastes kinda off to me, and doesn't digest well. I asked a worker at Trader Joe's if all of their produce is irradiated and she said "Yes, but we call it a different word." She was trying to say irradiation in some other way then ended up saying: "Yeah and it's probably that word you just said." Then she just walked off.
