Coconut HELP!

I am a coconut novice but would love to try young coconuts. I went into the hispanic grocery the other day and they have the brown coconuts then they had coconuts that they called GREEN COCONUTS they looked exactly like the brown ones except they were a very light tan or off white color. Is this the same as a young coconut? Any help would be appreciated.

No. Young coconuts look like a very short fat corn silo.---a squatty tube shape wit a cone top, and they are close to white. I have trouble finding them where I live. You may have to search awhile, too.
