Hi guys.. perhaps a bit of a random topic.
Is anyone here an overeater or was an overeater... If so would you mind sharing how or if raw has helped? or have you found something else that works for you? I am curious if anyone has found results with hypnotherapy for any issue?
I really want to learn to manage my eating!
Thanks everyone:)

I was a chronic over eater. (after being an undereater as a teen).
Eating raw ended my desire to overeat the same day I began. There was one night that I ate too much cauliflower, but it wasn't very damaging. So far, I have no more cravings and I don't even want cooked food. I am lucky that my daughter is doing this with me. I might not be as resolute if I had to cook or serve other foods. I think for me the key is not having cooked grains and starches. No grains at all. Nothing like mashed potatoes, cooked squash, thick starchy soups. At this point I feel so much better that I wouldn't risk going back to my painful existence just to eat a food. Without my trigger foods, I seem to be free of the desire to over eat. ( I now knock firmly on wood!!!)

I am an overeater. Raw helped me for a while, but I find myself bored lately and wanting to eat tons of garbage again. I dont think the issue will ever end, and I knew from the get-go that raw wasnt the solution to my mental overeating issues, I just thought it would help me learn. I dont think I can be raw forever. I will just try to eat a big percentage of my food raw.
