View Full Version : Forum question..logging in every time.
Hi..On my computer here at work...when I leaved this forum and return later, I have to log in each time. Is there a way to set my membership so it remembers me? Most forums I frequent I don't have to log in unless I reset my Cookies on the computer.
Thanks, jodi

I don't know if this works on pc's. Worked on my mac. What I did was, before logging in, choose a thread, click on a blue "post reply", then reply. Up comes the log-in feature. I logged in. After that, the log-in happens w/out me having to do so every time.

Sorry I don't have a solution for you as I go through the same thing as well depending on what machine I'm on. If I'm on my laptop, then I am always logged in - however, when I use my husband's laptop, then I have to log in everytime I get on the site.
Perhaps if Alissa's web guy gets wind of this, he can assist us.

YEP! That's true Revvell...I wasn't logged in once and I was gonna attempt to reply to a thread and the screen came up asking me to log in AND there was a box to check off if I wanted it to remember me. Thanks for reminding me of that :)

It does work on Windows, also, but, if you can't find it, it may be that your work computer has been set to not keep you logged in. Are you able to do this on other sites on that computer? If not, then it's the computer settings -- not Windows. Do you have a system administrator? Or can you change the settings?

Does it work on your husband's laptop? PC or Mac?
Just remember ~ don't log out ~ just close the window or you'll have to do it again.

I hadn't even tried it yet on his because I'm not really on there much so I didn't worry about it. But I'm almost certain it would.
