I have totally fallen in love with my new juicer and the yummy scrummy juices it makes.......that I can't stop making them.....

Is it possible to overdo juices so that they are actually bad for you or can I drink as many as I want in one daY?

I read someplace that your body can only handle 10 to 12oz's of juice at one sitting.. so as long as long as you do that and give your body some time to process the nutrients and then drink more you should be fine but someone else may have more info. I personally drink 64oz of juice a day.. 32 in the morning and 32 in the afternoon but it takes me about 2 hours to finish one sitting.

Too much fruit juice is a problem. I think with green juices, you should work your way up so you don't precipitate a detox crisis. Glad you're enjoying your juicer!

What about a juice fast? Maybe your body is telling you something!

I'm on my first GS & juice fast! There are so many informed articles about juice fasting. What I am appreciating the most is the variety of juices one can drink. I've been detoxing and for some reason right now I'm having a very strange pain in my left ear which I forgot about. It hurts. Fighting urges to break the fast, but after doing the MC for 11 days I do know the first three days are the most difficult to work through. Have fun with it. I think it's fantastic. So do all those people running sanitariums to cure the sick HA HA! I'm just doing it for healing and as preventative medicine.

hey steves going green--

you might be losing alot of nutrient content in the juice if youre juicing it and then it is sitting for 2 hours during which youre drinking it. unless you have one of those special juicers with the magnets, my understanding is that after 20 minutes it starts to rapidly lose nutrients. just something you might want to look into--

If you have to 'work your way up' to green juices, then maybe that's why I have been feeling terrible actually. Terrible headaches and my stomach is 'off'. I just got quite a shock from this, because I was expecting to be dancing on clouds, and am bit disappointed that I feel crappy.....

Not sure if it's detox or too many juices......it is difficult to know how much one can drink really.
