hiya :)

i have a question re: supplements. i used to take a lot of vitamin/mineral/herbal supplements last year..the expensive freeze-dried type that were made from whole foods, mostly..and i never once last year came down with the flu or a cold. but i felt like i was wasting money, so i stopped them in august when i moved to boulder. now, since moving here, i've had FOUR sinus infections, inspite of my raw/mostly organic diet. it may be four stages of detox, i dont know, but i do know that it isn't fun :(

i'm considering buying a bottle of .. something .. to begin supplementing with over the next 2 months to see if i stop coming down with these infections.

does anyone have any suggestions on what a good brand/whole foods supplement might be?

thanks :)

when i lived in Boulder, CO i was plagued by sinus infections and bronchitis... it went away when i moved to hawaii. i think it was allergy-related?

i like New Chapter herbal formulas, their supercritical formulas are RAW! bonus! often gelatin capsules tho... yuck. i open them up and empty them out into a glass of water.

maui..i didnt even consider allergies! ever since moving here i've been in a 3-4 week cycle of sinus infections :(

i started some freeze dried super mushroom supplement today, new chapter immune support thing i think. we'll see how that goes. i suppose local raw honey may be a good second choice, if its allergy related?
