Ok I have serious digestive issues, despite being without a gallbladder and craving all things beige and Taco Bell, I have crazy anxiety that throws my stomach into a frenzy- leading to hours of nausea.
I know that enzymes are supposed to help your digestion, but could you guys give me some feedback on how they really work, and how they make you feel before I buy them.
Thanks bunches.

Hi There,
If you are suffering from terrible nausea due to your anxiety attacks, then it would be important to take care of the underlying cause of your anxiety and deal with that. And if you are eating raw and especially drinking green smoothies, then there is no need for the digestive enzymes. The plants have all of the enzymes in them. On the other hand, if you are still eating Taco bell, then you should be taking a complete Enzyme supplement that will break down the foods you are eating and help deliver nutrients to your cells (Not that there is any nutrition in Taco Bell). And especially since you are without your gallbladder now. The gallbladder plays a vital role in the digestion process.......but conventional Dr's will never tell you this, and some do just not get it:confused: When you are eating cooked food and you take a complete enzyme with that cooked food, you are going to feel less bloated and lethargic because the enzymes are breaking down the food and your body does not have to take from it's own store of enzymes. I hope you are feeling better soon:)

And by the way, I live by Grand Rapids.

I have gastroparesis so I have digestive issues as well. I can not take some of the digestive enzymes because I react very badly to bromelain. I take something called PDA that I get at my health food store. I don't notice a really dramatic difference when I take it, but I do seem to throw up less so I take it for that reason.

If I just feel nausea, I chew on fennel seeds and that sometimes helps.

cabosun- love the name, thanks for the reply.
julie- I'm so sorry you're burdened with vomiting frequently, I can only imagine how you feel, what is PDA, what is it supposed to do?
What brand enzymes did you take that you had a reaction to?

I purchase mine from a company called Vitacost......the NSI complete vegeterian enzyme from a plant source. :)
