I haven't had this dessert in so long I forgot what it's called, here's the description:

1 square of brownies is topped with scoops of vanilla ice cream and chocolate fudge is poured all over.

I haven't had that in years, but for some reason I remembered it last night, so I put a note on my computer to remind me to make a raw version today (I knew I had raw recipes for all of the components [brownies, ice cream and syrup] so it was just a matter of making those recipes and combining them into a new one). I just made a raw version and it tasted even better (of course).

I made Matt Amsden's carob-coconut brownies, but used cacao instead of carob, and made Ani's Macadamia-Vanilla ice cream. For the syrup I mixed maple syrup with cacao powder (use agave for a raw syrup).

It was incredible! It even looks just like the real thing.

By the way, if anyone remembers what this dessert is called please let me know.

Do you mean a brownie sundae?

I don't know, is a brownie sundae as I described (a square of brownie on a plate topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup)?

Yeah, that's a brownie sundae alright. That's what you get when you order it at a restaurant.

If you can "stuff" the brownie with ice cream and shape it to be a little volcano type of desert, you can call it "Molten Chocolate Cake" like they do at Chili's!

It sounds amazing, especially if the brownie was warm....

Brings back memories of something we used to have at an Irish restaurant. That desert was aptly named, "Death by Chocolate" (and which accounts for MANY of the inches on my middle!)
