msm powder and gas?

i just recently started adding it into my smoothies (1/2 teaspoon daily) and since have been having lots of gas. is this normal with msm? thanks

Yes, it's quite normal.
MSM is a "sulphur" and can cause gas (sometimes smelly gas.)
