I am only three days into the raw diet and I am having some issues with cramps and loose BM. I figured I am probably detoxing some and also not paying much attention to food combinations at this point. I have been eating fruit in the morning usually followed by some nuts, more fruit and nuts for lunch, and then a big salad for dinner.

Is there any thing I should be avoiding so that i don't make this any worse? I skipped the salad tonight and ate some banana-papaya pudding and a few flax seed crackers. I love these crackers! I found them at our local whole foods store. I need to get a dehydrater so I can start making my own. Thanks for any suggestions.

That can still happen to me even after almost 3 years of raw.
When it does happen I avoid fruit for the next meal. I have to admit that it is one of the times when I would treat myself to a lara bar instead.

fruit and nuts don't mix well.

Eat fruit on its own as a meal or at least an hour before or after a meal.

I tend to eat fruit in the day, and in the evening I had greens and veggies.

Thank you for the advice. How long after eating fruit should I wait to eat the nuts? The nuts really help me get through those tough spots when I am wanting something a little more filling. So far today no cramps, but I didn't eat much last night. I had a banana and a handful of cashews this morning. I will try not to do that again.

Yesterday I only had two cups of coffee...yay for me. I am feeling so much more in control. I woke up this morning and I only slept 5 hours, but I feel so good and full of energy.
