Hey out there, We are a family of three, mama, papa, and 4 yr.old boy, looking to relocate to a place where there are some RAW HOMESCHOOL groups. I know this is strange, but could any moms out there, tell me what cities/towns out there have such groups? Thanks sooo much, Sand Wrenn :D

I live in the middle of Missouri and we have a lovely homeschool group, but I'm the only one who's raw. They are all very into organic and healthy foods, and are very supportive of my lifestyle. I have never heard of an exclusively raw homeschool group, but you never know, they might be out there! When I moved out in the country, there weren't any secular homeschool groups, so I MADE one. You can go to Yahoogroups and make a group. Before you know it, you'll find people! :)

My family is raw and we homeschool as well. Our group here in Sedona, AZ has a couple other raw families. We have a very small group and I don't know if they are 100% like we are, but we talk about it a bunch:) All the other families are supportive as well. I think it is amazing to be a part of such a great community! I hope you find what you are looking for. Our town is a great place for such things. We even have a raw restaurant a street away:D

It is very wonderful to see this subject come up! Tara, you are my neighbor! :D

We are a raw homeschooling (radical UNschooling!) family with two children who live in Tucson. There are other raw foodists in our very large and diverse local homeschool group.

hi sand wrenn :)

i'm in central massachusetts where we just opened a democratic freeschool in september. i'm the only raw eater here and no raw families yet but everyone is really supportive and it is a great community. there's a homeschool support center not far from here that's a bit more established and also very great. i don't know of any groups for raw families in particular but if you're interested in the northeast and want info on groups in the region to check into, i may be able to help.

(really cold up here, though. )

Hi I'm in the Norfolk Virginia area. We have a great homeschooling community here and a couple of us are either raw (me) or high raw (another mom).
