sage and smudge ?

Hey , Im smudging my room(this is an old house) and using regular white sage ,but I was wondering if my pineapple sage plant's harvestings would be effective after my commercial loose leaf sage is gone......or would sticking with the white sage be better???

I don't know what you mean by "commercial loose leaf sage" -- is this white sage leaves?

I always use wild white sage that's been gathered, dried whole, and bound together into bundles with one end decoratively tied. I gather it locally, or, in a pinch, buy it already prepared for smudging.

Don't know the origins of pineapple sage, but I suppose salvia is salvia.

It comes cut and loose in bulk, not wrapped or bound ,I just let it burn in a small ceramic bowl.
