Our 5 month photos, Before and Now

I'm not close to where I think my body should be yet. But my husband Greg is almost there! And since I'm so pleased with our progress I thought I would post our before pictures with our current 5 month pictures. These are taken on 8/12/07 and 1/13/08.

We feel incredible!! My blog has photos of each month's progress, but I wanted to show just the before and now!

Greg's lost 75 pounds in 5 months, I've lost 68. He's gone from a size 40 pants to a 34 (which are now baggy). I've gone from a size 24 to a 16.

We were both even larger than that 2 years ago. I was 296 and he was 265. We did a diet program for a year and we lost, we gained, you know the drill. That got us to a starting point in August 2007 of 269 for me & 240 for him. We went 100% raw overnight on Aug 13th!

Hi Resa! It's funny, I JUST looked at your blog last night, after seeing your avatar picture and saw how fantastic you looked. I thought, "Ok, how much have I missed since I last peeked in on her?" I know we've never "spoken", but I just wanted to say how wonderfully I think you and your husband are doing, and it is such a powerful motivator to see others' successes. What did your meal plan look like?

Our meal plan has included green smoothies almost every day. Other than that, we've just had whatever produce we have, and nuts. Not a lot of avocados, I'm the only one who likes them & I don't eat them quick enough, they keep going bad. Salads now and then, some raw brownies & tortes now and then. Very inconsistent- sort of going with whatever sounded good. Greg loves fruit, I love the green smoothies. I've made tiny pizzas in the dehydrator, that's as adventurous as I've gotten there.

No health stuff, like colonics or anything. I can't wait to get to a chiropractor though, I've been out of alignment for at least 6 1/2 yrs and it hurts daily. I fell when I was pregnant back then and never could afford to get fixed.:rolleyes:
