So what are your must have suggestions...

Based on folks' recipes...

I'm thinking a coconut oil, cacao powder and maybe shredded coconut....

Any one must have item for anyone?

I'm a dessert diva--so that is what I would like to start creating. I don't own a dehydrator though.

Just curious as to what your must have item from Alissa's on-line store (or anyone else) is.

(I don't have much raw ingredients available to me locally that customarily are sold...roasted. )

It really depends on what you're wanting to make. Raw cakes require dates and nuts - lots of them. Raw puddings do not - they're fruits. Raw pies, again - need the seeds, nuts, dates. Coconut oil (I hear) is good for fudge making. Cacao and carob powders are good choices, too.

I haven't tried her cacao powder... but right on with the coconut oil. Her coconut oil is amazing. There is an organic "raw" coconut oil that I can get at my local HFS, but it tastes gross... The brand she uses is seriously the only brand that doesn't taste rancid to my now very sensitive palate. :)

Ah... and the truffles are already made and a bit pricey... but a worthwhile splurge!

incredible. Totally blissful. I can't taste the gojis, but the coconut butter is wonderful.

She has the best coconut butter. I, too, bought some from my local natural food store and it was awful!
