Silverbeet & Chard

I was at the produce markets yesterday and one of the sellers told me that silverbeet & chard can't be juiced because they have some toxic thing (she vaguely remembered the name which I've now forgotten anyway)...THis is absolute rubbish...isnt it? I've juiced silverbeet and am still alive to tell the tale, though I prefer to juice spinach.

I didn't have the energy to refute her or get involved in a discussion just said "oh...really"

A bit of a shame when the people selling the stuff tell you this...or was she right?
