I was just reading the interview he did two years ago with Mike Adams. This is what his raw lifestyle has done for him. I would say he look's like he is in his mid 40's.

He is an incredible person! He has lead a life of service. He will be in NYC tonight touring with his new book about curing diabetes with raw foods, green juice and supplements.

Wouldn't it be heavenly if all men and women took such great care of themselves - think of what the world could be like? Dr Cousens is a shining reminder of what we're capable of achieving with ourselves and the human body. We could probably be living well into our 200-300's by now if we never discovered fast food and processed food and stuck to the basics.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Think of how much cleaner our world would be as well!!! Very well put:D

what a great article. thanks for posting. i loved the quote: "most people are born originals and die copies." that really hit me hard today, in a good way.

Raven, I so wish I could be there. I was going to drive down from Syracuse, but
my car is not feeling well.:(
I would love it if you emailed me or posted about the talk.
Diabetes is such a growing problem and in so many cases, it is so treatable with lifestyle changes. Have fun!

He looks great in that pic... BUT that is not a current picture of him... its been around for a while now.

I would definately like to see a pic of him now... at 63 years old.

He is amazing and totally inspiring. I didn't realise that that isn't an up-to-date pic of him -- it would be good to see one, but I bet he still looks great.

Go to YouTube - there are recent videos there of him - he still looks this good:) Also, on the tree of life website, he is in a video at the bottom of the screen, where he states that he is in his 65th year. The article linked above is from 2 years ago.

A great interview. Thanks for posting.
Gabriel is a great soul, more spiritual driven than ego driven.

There are nice comments here about Gabriel's external appearance,
but what about his spiritual appearance?

His spirit really shines as well! In fact, I was enjoying his interview so much that I did not want it to end:)

He's really entriguing me these days as I just finished reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert SUCH a good book (but not about raw food) but she does talk a bit about meditation and stuff....(in a very non-"spacey new age weirdo" kind of way)....so now I know what he's talking about with all that. :)

Hint Hint...Read that book, it is a new york best seller too, so good.
