I love banana slices with almond butter and honey drizzled on top, but I am almost out of raw almond butter. With the pasteuriztion laws now in effect, raw almond butter is hard to find and expensive when you do find it.

I do have three jars of raw, organic tahini. So, I wondered what the ratio of tahini to honey would be to make a sauce to put on my bananas. For those of you who mix the two and dip things in it (I've read that some do on this board), what is the ratio? Thanks!

I judge by taste. Some days the tahini flavor seems overwhelming and I need a lot of honey but other days I crave tahini and add almost no honey. Do what tastes good.
If you're looking for ways to use all that tahini, my favorite halvah recipes is: tahini, honey, coconut butter, cacoa powder, cacoa nibs, goji berries, vanilla, sea salt, and kelp flakes. Just mix it all up by hand and keep in the freezer. Again, I'm sorry I have no ratios, its all by taste.
