I've struggled with general candida symptoms for years. Does anyone have any raw cures? Does anyone else struggle with this issue? Looking for a solution to this chronic problem. Thanks.:(

If it's vaginal, gentian violet will clear it up instantly. Unfortunately it will stain everything it touches violet and will keep on doing it for weeks. So you'll have to wear black panties and pants for the entire time it continues to stain. It is also not readily available any more and you'll probably have to buy it online. They used to make tampons saturated with it. Don't think they do any more. I used a cotton swab to apply it.
Another method that takes a bit longer is boric acid. I've heard that some women wet their finger then apply the powder internally and externally where needed. I opted to buy the capsules and insert them vaginally. One caution with this is that it is poison if taken internally. What it does is dry up the excess moisture, thereby killing off the yeast. It works well, but you will have to use the capsules for at least several days at once and may need to continue to use it prophylactically for a few day each time you get your period for several months.

hi. i used to have yeast infection issues and had a couple ways to clear it up.
#1: plain yogurt with active cultures. take a tampon out of the tampon applicator and fill it will plain yogurt. you can freeze it ot just use it then if you are going to bed. insert yogurt into your vagina every day as needed.
#2 garlic. make a little garlic tampon. peel a clove of garlic and tie some floss around it. insert into vagina and leave it there all day. repeat until infection clears up.
i have used both of these methods and both work. the garlic is a less messy and also raw!
i provided a link to where i first discovered these cures, it will also give you more info.

I tried the garlic and it burned very badly. Also felt like it was cutting me up inside as I inserted it. Had a sharp little tip on it.
I've heard that yogurt can work but it is not vegan.

Just eat raw, but not too much sweet fruit for a few weeks & take probiotics daily.

I used every topical medication on the market from OTCs to boric acid and nothing worked for about a year. That's when I decided to go raw and my yeast infections went away in one week :) No restrictions with fruit, fat, etc., just as long as what I eat is raw. I empathize with you, and I hope you find relief soon!

if you want to give the garlic another shot, i wrap a bit of medical gauze around the clove, so that prevents the cutting feeling and possibly the burning.
as for the yogurt... yes, it is not vegan... but i feel it is better to use than OTC or prescription meds... i am vegan, but if there is something that will help me, such as the yogurt trick, i buy organic and the best possible product (in terms of animal/environmental treatment).
it's up to you...
