Hi everybody! Happy January!!!!! New January goal for myself is to get back into a raw food lifestyle. It's been an up and down couple of years but I've never totally given up on my love for being high raw! I haven't been on the board often because I've not been living up to a 100% lifestyle, but now that I'm committing to the cause, I want to visit and read your wonderful posts and give/receive encouragement! :)
I've started posting in my prodigal blog again. January is a new start for me. I'll also be joining Frederic's 21 day challenge starting Monday!

Since I've last been active on this site, I've read the 80/10/10 book, Matt and Angela's books (I knew they would end up together!;) ) and several other raw food books! Are there any new publications that you guys would recommend?

Looking forward to making some new friends!!!

Peace!

Welcome back...I too strayed and "went away" fom the board for some months this summer but am now back full swing and loving it/ maybe appreciating it so much more.....I actually find it easier this time around having fallen "off the wagon" because I know firsthand IT WORKS because for the time I was away I deteriorated quickly in how I felt, etc....so, this time around will probably be much easier and more relaxed for you...Good luck!

Welcome back! I was away for a while, too, and then came back -- and it's so good to be here again. I'm sure you'll find the same.

Hey you! :D Nice to see you again! I do the same thing and stop posting for periods but I always end up back sooner or later! :D Have you read China Study yet? Not raw but totally worth reading! The next books on my list are DW's book Amazing Grace and the Anastasia books, you can actually read the first chapter online here:

A good follow on to The China Study is Joel Fuhrman's Fasting and Eating for Health.
RawVeganMom, who is DW? Ohhh, never mind...David Wolfe, I guess.

a book I like is The Live Food Factor by Susan Schenck -- very clear and persuasive, and some good recipes too.

I love Alissa's book and DVD...to me they are #1 and since then I've enjoyed other books but this is still my #1 choice if I could just have one rawfood book....it covers it all.
