Heips!
Hehe, there's a bit Finnish for you.. :p
Today, I ate cooked food - as the title says. What did I have? Umm.. Bread, soy yoghurt and chocolate soy drinks, some ice cream and chocolate.. Wow, am I full or something! Three weeks ago this would have been nothing - it seems that eating raw as really shrunken my stomach.
Though I ate all that stuff.. I don't feel disappointed or sad or depressed.. I know that at some point this had to come. And to tell you the truth, the bread I have been dreaming about for two weeks didn't really taste that good. The soy chocolate drink was pretty delicious though :p but the normal chocolate wasn't. The only thing I'm afraid of is tomorrow morning.. I'm afraid that my stomach is going to bulge and that I'll have gas... And that I'll be swollen and everything..
Hummm..... I wish I could do more exercise when I'm raw, but during these two weeks I haven't really been able to do hard exercise like jogging. I've just felt myself too weak and tired. I've done ballet exercises though - mostly at the barre - but I've really been lacking some cardio.. Any tips or advices? How did you feel in the beginning?

Thats funny...I had some toast yesterday for the first time in about a week because I just couldn't seem to get full, and to my surprise it kind of tasted like cardboard! But, yeah, I've decided not to try for perfectionism with this lifestyle... when people go that route I don't think they will never be satisfied with themselves. Trying to get that perfect 100% for raw, for organic, for anything is needless if you ask me. I think people should just give themselves a nice pat on the back for the wonderful things they ARE doing for their body, instead of feeling guilty for anything that might possibly have been harmful.

(I love your name!) my guess is that you have probably not been eating enough! If you would like to check your calorie intake, fitday.com is a good place to do it.
I am about 5'5'', a small-bone person. Yesterday, I ate a glass of banana smoothie, 12 mandarines, 6 bananas, a big bowl of grapes, 2 good-size apples, a huge serve of green salad and 5 bite-size pieces of halva. Does it sound anywhere near the amounts that you usually eat?
All the best,
Gosia.

hmmmm , well as far as tips go... I would have to say to have frozen banannas on hand (for ice cream) and have raw alternatives so your not as tempted!
Your body is going through a major change so barre exercise sounds GREAT ,as well as doing yoga (or tai chi and palates ) just take it easy......youll be ready for intense stuff soon( and YOU will know when)!

Hi!
Thanks for your replies..
I don't know whether it sounds reasonable, but I really didn't have that much of a craving yesterday.. I just kinda decided that ok, now I'm going to eat these foods. Like with the soy yoghurt.. My mother has bought me 1.5 litres of it and she said that I should eat it before it gets bad. So I thought that maybe I really should eat it. Now I don't know what to do, because it didn't taste good!
And yeah, I think I have been eating enough. I count my calories at Fitday just to keep at track of how much fat and nutrients I'm getting, so don't be worried about that. Usually when I have cravings I just eat a lot of fruits until the craving goes away.
I really just needed to try out, what "normal" food tastes like. Whether I would like to return to it. But no, yesterday just demonstrated that the old foods taste like crap after eating just two weeks raw. :D

I hate it when that happens , my mom hasnt "gotten" that I dont drink soy milk anymore ,and keeps bringing it home -I dont touch it ,but I feel bad that its going to waste ,usually my nephews finnish it off before it goes bad when they come over though - If you REALLY dont want to waste it ,try adding it to smoothies ,but I dont like suggesting you do something just to "finnish it" -like how most americans (possibly non americans )tell there children "clean your plate" .......hate that logic!

Oh dear... I think I could cry... :(
Today I still continued my cooked food day.. with bread, ice cream, chocolate... :(
I have had some problems with my eatings for about five years. Nothing official, but I've lost and gained weight ever since the Autumn of 2000 with unhealthy eating habits. This spring I threw up for the first time in my life after eating...
During my two weeks raw I felt great. I didn't have any problems at all. Everything seemed great. But now, today I've been almost binging.. I try not to throw up but all this s***t in my body feels so heavy. ..
