I would love to make a green smoothie although i'm afriad to make one, I just can't get over the fact that it would be green Lol!
Is there any combination that would taste good with just banana, because thats all that I have until I go to the store right now!
Also, is it ok to have frozen fruit? Is that still considered raw?

I use frozen bananas and other fruit from the summer. Probably not ideal but at least I know it wasn't gassed or slightly cooked.
If you use any kind of dark berries the drink goes from green to usually purple. Although sometimes it has been a funny brownish color!!
LOL!

Hey, if you don't want it to be green you could get purple kale and use blueberries, that should make it not green.

Hi!
I do a cup of romaine with 2 bananas and it hides the bitter taste pretty well!

i agree... romaine and bananas are great together!
use a little agave or honey to sweeten it up a little
if you need it.
maybe, close your eyes while you drink it?

The greenness is actually what I love to anticipate. I think the green shades are gorgeous. It is vitality and LIFE. Isn't green, life? Think of it that way. Think of all the sunpower that permeated those greens to turn them that beautiful color.Think of a beautiful green meadow, the endless number of trees on this earth, are they not ultimate beauty? Gardens? Even the worst foodies sprinkle parsley onto plates to give it some semblance of life :D
Take a different perspective. Change your perceptions and your views will follow.
For now, put it in a non-clear cup, maybe a lidded one, and use a straw.
Best,

2 words, cacao powder. But, like jaurequi, I love that green color. It is so ALIVE!! It is a beautiful glow I am putting into me, therefore, I will glow!!
P.s. cacao powder works best with milder greens like spinach, lettuces. I have not liked it with kale, though, my mouth didn't like what my bod loved.

I find that spinach and bananas work well. Use in whatever ratio you want to get started with. Just keep taste testing till you find what works.

Here's what I do- it taste's great.
Make spinach cubes- blend spinach with little water and pour into ice cube trays, and freeze
Frozen bananas
Frozen rasperries
3-4 Spinach cubes
1tsp-1tbs Nature's First Food green powder
Agave
Dash vanilla
Maybe coconut butter (depending on the mood)
And water or oj as the base
Oj makes it sweet and really masks any greens or supplements you put in there.
My non raw super meat eating family loves these!
