Hi everyone! I am new to the raw forum. I am trying more raw foods in 2008. I believe that raw foods are way more full of nutrients that cooked foods so I am trying to incorporate more of them into my daily meals. I am already a vegan for the last year, and I love it! I have become more healthy this past year and am looking forward to improving my health through raw foods. I am always on the lookout for raw food recipes, but basically I am now just eating whole raw foods like apples and raw veggies. I recently starting making my own sprouts which I find awesomely satisfying.
I am a 45 year old mother of 3 wonderful step-children ages 16, 14, and 11. Each day is a challenge with them, trying to get them to eat healthy, while also watching my own diet. I lost 36 lbs. last year, but still have another 20 to go to reach my goal. I am a stay at home full time mom. Anyone who says that being a housewife isn't work, dosen't have any children, because believe me I work!
I hope I will be welcomed into this forum and I am looking forward to meeting all of you.

Autumn sage.....welcome!!! I think you'll enjoy adding more raw to your 2008 year. I have a smoothie that I love to fix for my daughter who has a hard time with veggies. (keep in mind she isn't raw) froozen bananas (small froozen chunks) spinach leaves and some vanilla soy milk. She loves it and I make it for her about 4-5 times a week, this morning she came and asked me for one before she left for a school activity. Yeah!!! It sounds like we have alot in common, I'm also a stay at home mom and have 4 children. They are great children and my husband and I are very blessed. Welcome to the forum. Judith :)
