My work (giant urban university) is doing a "biggest loser" competition for 8 weeks. I am so excited to have even more of a reason to keep raw...show everyone how much it helps with weight loss! Any tips to keep me going? I am always go good with anything (diet/exercise/meditation/whatever) for like 4 days...I'm golden. But I lose motivation fast...hard to see that pot of gold at the end of rainbow...any tips? Thanks!

1. Read Eveleaf's recent post!!
2. Set yourself up with a prize for winning your own contest within you.
3. Make things simple.
4. Keep raw food available to yourself at all times.
5. go visit the Boutenko's!!

Ok, there's 5. What will you think of?

After 4 days, you may feel so much better all over that there wouldn't be any point in eating other than RAW. :D

Reward yourself each week of 100% rawness! (special bath, CD, book, toy, etc)
Keep your eye on the outcome at ALL times!!

Know that aside from anything else, YOU are WORTH this:D

Take one day -- heck, one meal -- at a time. The days soon add up.

Keep your interest by trying different foods and dishes -- Alissa makes this point in her book, and I think it's one of the most important things.

Bearing that in mind, I find it so useful to have one of two of my fave 'made' dishes in the freezer so that when inspiration fails or I'm on the verge of being tempted by something cooked, I can spoil myself with something yummy.

You can do it: envisage yourself being successful! Good luck.

Hello there,

Go online everyday and read lots of raw before and after testimonials or stories that included weight loss with great pics. There are lots on here, just bookmark them all. You can find lots of others ones on www.fromsadtoraw.com and www.ibeatobesity.com. Also, just do a google search on raw weight loss and I bet a lot will come up.

Blessings!

I agree with all of the above.

Also, remember that it's all about your health. If you want to be 100% healthy, then be 100% raw.
