I was just curious, what do all of you raw foodists do for a living/career/job (what ever you want to call it). I am a stay at home mom of 4. I homeschool 2 of them (the other two aren't school age) and I have my own part-time home business. What do you all do?

I am an artist ~ my mediums include painting, and porcelain and some wood carving. My theme of choice is usually fantasy - faeries, mermaids, dragons. I am also the Office Manager/Administrator for a land prep company.

I am also moving into the direction of catering raw food for meetings, parties etc... along with holding work shops ~ teaching raw food prep.

i manage (and am part-owner in) a private concierge service on maui (www.mauiconcierge.com). we assist our clients with travel planning, activity and tour reservations, golf tee times, restaurant recommendations, island current events, and great advice about vacationing on the island.

my job is fun, fun, fun! and perfect for me since i'm such a know-it-all.

so if any of y'all are coming to maui, drop me a line, i'd love to share all my good tips with my fellow rawfoodists!

I am a psychology professor at a small liberal arts college. I love my job!! It keeps me young and thinking on my feet all the time:) I love teaching!!!

My students help me stay raw....they think it is funny and totally don't "get" raw. They always ask me what I have eaten that day and when they see me eating things outside of the classroom they ask if it is "raw". It is sort of like having my own little raw patrol to keep me on track!!

I am currently a college senior, one semester left, and I'm studying business administration with a minor in biology. I'll be doing a veterinary technician program after I graduate, which will take me about 9 months. I've been volunteering at a cat animal shelter for the past year, and this is definately the type of thing I want to have a career in. I dont really want to work in a veterinary doctors office... I want to be in animal rescue groups with a no kill policy, like the one I'm volunteering for now.

I've been a stay-at-home mom for going on 12 years now.
My children are both school age and so I have a few hours a day on my hands in which I write: music, children's books, poetry, plays & scripts. I help with things at school. (Talent Shows and what nots) I also grew up doing tap, ballet, jazz and summer theater...which I now use that skill for the drama group in our church. :) Fun, fun. In my spare time, I paint (watercolors and acrylic), I crochet...sew...and bake. I also help lead worship at a home for the mentally handicapped once a month as well as help lead worship at our church once a week.

My actual job...is mommy. Which I've always enjoyed with all my heart!

As for a job that earns money...I haven't done that in years...but I'm a very busy women for no pay except for the rewards that come from loved ones, friends...and our Heavenly Father. I feel that I'm extremely well paid indeed! :D

Raw (((HUGS))) ya'll!

My reason for being and my most important job is Mommy to my 2 girls (5 and 6 year olds) and all that goes along with that !
I also work as an Assistant Manager for Starbucks. (Even though I no longer indulge) It's a good company to work for.
I hope one day soon to Become a Certified Raw Foods Teacher and see where that takes me. I am very new to the Raw Foods way of life and need to get some time and results in (mainly weight loss) to have some credibility so right now I am enjoying immersing myself into trying all of the new recipes and gaining as much knowledge as I can.

I'm a Mama to my just turned 12 year old homeschooled daughter, (my favorite job & responsibility!) & am currently on dissability, but also do massage & sewing/quilting {just getting into art quilting} for $ as I'm able, & hope to do more & more as I get healthier.

I hope to one day teach Raw living, & also share my music & writing with the world, whatever form that takes, & after walking through whatever doors God opens.

I'm a stay at home mom home schooling my 2 girls. I also was in the home daycare business for the last two years. It was too much though & I need to focus more on my children. So I'll only be in the daycare business another week or so. Home schooling is about to get much more intense.;)

My hubby is 100% raw as well and he's an IT Project Manager. He faces a lot more temptation than I do out there in the work force every day. It can be really tough, but he's stayed strong for 5 months now.
