Today when I made a cold tall drink of orange juice and enjoyed every sip, I was reminded that the most simple things can be the most delicious, both in raw food and in our lives. So what's everyone most simple recipes you just love?

I just love to sqeeze juice from half of a lime into the blender with a teaspoon of honey or agave and a couple of spoons of water & blend it a few seconds, then add ice and blend until I have a delightful lime "daquiri" which I pour into a big fancy goblet and enjoy.
Gee, I think I'll go make one now.

I like To drain the juice out of a young coconut into the VM and then put the pulp in there and blend with some ice until very smooth. I prefer the young coconut not be to young nor to old for the best taste. Its a wonderful, simple, nutritious drink.

Two almonds shoved in a dried apricot.
A big juicy grapefruit, cut in half. I even love slicing it all into little segments.
Apple slices and nut-butter.

Now this sounds REALLY good....thanks for everyone's reply I've enjoyed everyone of them. As I read everyone's comments I couldn't help but think of the simple things I love besides simple raw food.....I love it when someone gives me a hug or says something kind for no reason at all, even the simple act of a smile or having someone remember your name can make you feel really good. So I thought I'm going to be sure and pass something simple like that on to someone today and challenge all of you to do the same. Have a GREAT raw day. Judith

Oh, I just remembered another one I reallly love.....cut up mango with lime squeezed over it. There is something really great about those two tastes together. I've introduced several in my extended family to it and they love it also.:)

I have a couple of staples when I'm hungry:

sliced mushrooms with a little olive oil and vinegar
sliced tomatoes with a dash of herbamare
freshly sliced pineapple

:( sadly I burned myself out on avocados. I hope that's not permanent because they were my favorite food!
