I just found out that a friend's 5-year-old little girl has been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and has already had to have two surgeries on some joints. :( Does anyone have any experience with this and the raw food diet?

I "cured" my arthritis from raw. I say "cured" because I still have it but it's like in a sleep state. It's when I stop being raw the pain comes back. I haven't had many pains in over 1 year and before raw I was so chronic It used to affect me in many ways like stiff hands in the morning I remember dropping a mug out of my hand once and I was stunned. I am 25. I suffered from arthritis since I was about 16 years old. I do not have Rheumatoid arthritis as far as I know and I know how damaging that is. I can't say that raw will cure it but it might be able to do what it did for me and that is make it in a sleep state. I ate tons of foods that brought down inflammation and I loaded up on flax seeds which can be fatty but those babies are a wonderful thing!
When your body attacks the joints I am not sure what you can do but I feel like raw can help along with other treatments.

Could be a food allergy like gluten. Tell her to stay away from using microwave ovens.
