Hello, right now i have a container of almond pulp (i like to call it almond mush) in the fridge! I am looking for some nice ways to use it or incorporate it into desserts? I really do not want to throw it away given the high cost of raw almonds these days!!! Thanks!

You can freeze it and use in recipes (I didn't really care for it that way, personally) OR...what I do is dry it in the dehydrator and then grind into flour (store in the fridge as it may go rancid quickly) and use in any recipe calling for nuts or almond meal - pie crusts, cookies, crackers, etc.

If you make the almond meal (flour) like rawkinlocs does, there is an incredible recipe for macaroons in the book Raw Food/ Real World. (it's the blondie version)

Maraw (from this site) has a site (the raw table . com) and she has a WONDERFUL recipe for a pie crust that is so flakey, my kids thought it was better than store bought...it uses dehydrated almond pulp that you put in a coffee grinder to make almond flour....YUMMY! This is one of my favorite recipes, even though I don't make almond milk often enough to have the pie crust too often!
