quote block?

How do people respond to a particular portion of a posting by putting it in the green quote box in their own post? I have tried clicking as many different things as possible, but can not figure it out. Can you help me please? I am sorry if it sooooo evident!

Right above where you type, there is the B for Bold... On that row, there is a button that looks like a quote. Here's how I do it:

FIRST highlight what I'd like to quote, hit Ctrl and C at the same time to copy it THEN, hit the quote button
LAST, hit Ctrl and V at the same time to paste it.

Very cool. I had forgotten about doing it that way! One click faster. :) Both ways work... apower2me's is easier for quoting stuff here. If you ever need to quote something that's not on Raw Food Talk (such as an article), you can use the directions I gave. :)
