I found some in my sea weed drawer and I'm wondering if it can be used on a raw food diet or is a product that requires cooking? I bought it quite some time ago and have never used the product before.

it is used in some raw food cookbooks
but you have to put it in boiling water to activate it then stir it into your ingredients to thicken them as it cools.
it's up to u if you want to use it (like honey, maple syrup, nutritional yeast, braggs etc) since it is not a main ingredient.
