We're starting a daycare centre at home. Nutritious foods, physical activity, individual attention, love, education & creativity are all very important to us.
UPDATE:
I looked at all the suggestions (thank you) and I liked these the best but still they're not perfect. Maybe you guys can suggest something related that has a better ring to it. :D
-Little Sprouts Child Care--> it's cute but is it ok to call kids sprouts? plus, the "s" at the end of "sprouts" sounds wierd with "child care". Say it out loud and you'll see.
-Little Sunshines Child Care --> I love this one a lot but again the "s" at the end of sunshines doesn't blend in.. what do u think?
- FitKids Daycare --> I don't want it to seem like this is mostly a fitness program... but it sounds nice
- Crafty Critters Child Care --> very original but craft is not all that we're about..so I'm not sure
It's tough because I want the name to say it all but to be short at the same time! lol
Any more ideas?
tip: I really like calling a child "sunshine" :)

okay... here's a suggestion:
Crafty Critters Daycare - numerologically this would represent a spirit of co-operation (you and parents as well as the kids) and lots of self expression. there would be lots of change... things would not be stagnant at all.
unfortunately it could also represent change of clients... but if you are offering quality, people will stay and the ones who don't appreciate you would move on... which is good.
all in all... your daycare would be a place of adventure, creativity, socialization, the arts... joy of living and being alive! the kids would be considerate of others and learn the constructive use of freedom.
seems like a very well balanced name to me... oh and you would not promise more than you deliver which is very good. that means people would have expectations and you would exceed them!!!
but you'd have to spell it exactly as i did. changing it to K would change the numbers.
IF you really wanted one of the 'c' to be a 'k' you could do that... but it would be a bit more of a struggle. I really recommend the c's.

Hi, I have considered opening a childcare place in my home, so I have thought about this before. There are certain words that say natural, happy, and active to me.
Here are a few word ideas. They are a bit out there and some are silly and too long, but maybe you can play around with them and come up with something of your own.
the whole child daycare
fresh air daycare
pure kids daycare
green kids daycare
green leaf daycare
green sprouts daycare
little sprouts daycare
bright sky daycare
sunny sky daycare
sunshine kids daycare
child alive daycare
lively time childcare
hop, skip, and jump
joyful noise
fun and frolic
Good luck and have fun! The options are almost endless!
You'll have to consult Recycling Goddess for numerological advice. I am
clueless in that area! :) :) :)

Heehee, I wondered to about calling kids sprouts, but I still like it. See what people have to say??? How about something with SunChild in it. SunChild Daycare Center maybe. Maybe Little Sunshine Childcare without the "s"?
Or Little Sunshines Daycare?
Thinking about names is fun!

I run a family child care program and have for about 20 years. Sounds like some great suggestions. Will you partcipate in the USDA food program?
Wishing you much fun and success~:)

once you get a name... if you want to know if it's balanced... i can assist you with that, no problem. ;)
i would consider the name from a mother's perspective. finding words which will resonate with the mom, as she's usually the one looking for childcare.
so... think about what kind of moms you WANT to bring their kids to you. is it moms who feed their kids raw foods? is it moms who are looking for a homeschooling type of environment? is it moms who are looking for a lot of field trips?
i did child care for years when my eldest was young (she's 21 now) and i didn't have a name for it... but i always mde it clear to parents what i expected from them. what i was looking for in a child to 'enhance' my home... most parents loved this about me. i was willing to take anyone, i was looking for a perfect fit. so explaining that in your name, by wanting to attract those moms is, IMO essential.
